The return policy is valid for all Inverters, Batteries, UPS Systems and Solar Panels purchased from SolarKinect.


All inverters, batteries and solar panels must be installed by a Qualified Electrical Wireman or a Master Electrician with a valid registration with the Department of Labour.

Your Order Cancellation Rights

Customers are entitled to cancel orders within 7 days without giving any reason for doing so.

The deadline for cancelling an order is 7 days from the date on which goods were received, or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.  In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement.  Please, email your request to: 

Customer's will be reimbursed no later than 21 days from the day on which SolarKinect receive the returned goods. All returns will incur a 10% handling fee for such reimbursement which will be deducted from the customer's refund.

Conditions for Returns

In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The Goods were purchased in the last 7 days

  • The Goods are unused, unopened and in their original condition and packaging

The following goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of goods is of a unique specifications / nature and/or clearly personalized.

  • The supply of goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned or deteriorate rapidly.

  • The supply of goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.

  • The supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, mixed with other items.

SolarKinect reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.  Only regular priced goods may be refunded.  Goods on sale cannot be refunded.  If a product is returned, a thorough inspection will be carried out by the sales and technical department.  If there are any signs of the goods being tampered with, the return will be rejected.

Returning Goods

The responsibility for the courier/delivery cost and risk of returning the goods to SolarKinect fall's on the customer.  SolarKinect will not accept responsibility for damaged or lost in return shipment.  We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.

Return, refund and exchanges are strictly regulated:

  • If a product is returned, a thorough inspection will be carried out by the sales and technical department.  If there are any signs of the goods being tampered with, the warranty/return will be void.

  • Products such as inverters will be refunded or replaced provided that it was not removed from the box.

  • The warranty seals for specific products will be checked and if a warranty seal has been broken or tampered with, all warranties will be void.

  • No OBF policy will be tolerated if a product has been opened, used or installed. 

  • Management will only replace under special circumstances after thorough evaluation.

  • Upon return serial numbers of the box and inverter must match with our specific product number in order to deduce if the product was sold by SolarKinect.

  • If the item is requested for an exchange, management will make the final decision, and options will be discussed.  Refund or exchanges will be at the sole discretion of SolarKinect’s management.

  • Customers will be liable for courier cost / delivery cost to bring the unit in.

  • If damaged goods (out of box failures) are not reported to SolarKinect, within 7 days after the purchase, goods will fall under the standard warranty policy.


No refunds, or exchanges will be accepted on any products that were installed, scratched or damaged in any way.  Warranty returns require 7 to 30 working days to assess, and repaired.

Manufacturer's warranty period differs for each product.
